Share with you the concern that you Express in your ietter and
many of the questions which you wrote had aiso occurrea to me. =I
am very much interested to see how they wiii answer these pene-
trating questions.
Recently I received a letter from the mother of one of the
children who was molested. She is a disciple of mine named
. Her son's name is i 252. At the
time of writing this letter the cnhiid abuse incidents report nad
not yet ae issued. She was writing me a report about her son
and stated "he is not staying in the ashrama because I am worried
about the prospect of him becoming another name on the long list
of boys who are experimenting with sex. It is not something that
the faculty of the school likes to discuss or even admit to."
The letter ends with another note dated July 9th, 1991 in which
she mentions that since the letter was typed some rather snocking
revelations have been made about twenty-five boys being invoived
in sێxuai abuse.

had prior knowledge of sexuai abuse. I thought that you would
find this information an important piece of evidence. I wouid
appreciate your notifying me of the resuits of any further inves-
tigations that are heid there.

Just read on my return from the Soviet Union.
AS you pointed out, there is quite a bit of evidence the
School faculty was aware the school had serious problems.
Bhaktarupa Prabhu wrote back answering my questions as best he
could. However, some issues need to be addressed by Bhaktividya
Purna Swami and Naresvara Prabhu.

I'm presently trying to raise enough money for plane fare so I
can spend a couple of weeks at the Mayapur school during November
or December. If you know anyone who could help with a few hun-
dred dollars, I would appreciate it.
Since the report was sent out, Bhaktividya Purna Swami
resigned and has been replaced by Dayaram Prabhu.
I would welcome any other thoughts you have on this subject.
