Bio

Trivikrama Swami served for many years in ISKCON as a sannyasi (renunciant) and initiating guru. On his removal from those positions in June 2025, the GBC Executive Committee thanked him for “his many years of service and friendship” and advised his disciples to continue serving within ISKCON, where they remain devotees in good standing. He has since been referred to as Trivikrama Dasa. In July 2025 the GBC Executive Committee reported that he intended to marry and settle in Ukraine, and that he had conveyed his wish to continue his spiritual life within ISKCON. His year of birth, the date of his initiation and his earlier fields of service are not confirmed in the sources consulted.

Removal as sannyasi and guru for "severe spiritual and moral deviations"

ConductBreaking sannyasa vowsPeriod

ISKCON's Sannyasa Standing Committee and Guru Services Committee removed Trivikrama Swami as a sannyasi and initiating guru, finding that he had "engaged in severe spiritual and moral deviations breaking the regulative principles" and had rejected their directions for his purification. The GBC Executive Committee later reported that he "confirmed his intention to marry his disciple from Ukraine".

The resolution does not specify the deviations, and the sources do not say whether his relationship with a disciple is among them.

Outcome

Removed as sannyasi and initiating guru (24 June 2025). The GBC Executive Committee later directed that he not give classes or lead kirtans in ISKCON temples for a designated period.

His response

He initially decided to work outside ISKCON and its authorities, per the June 2025 resolution; in July 2025 the GBC Executive Committee reported that he had conveyed his desire to continue his spiritual life within ISKCON. [2]
