Bio
Raghunath Cappo (legal name Ray Cappo; also Raghunath Das) is an American former vocalist of the hardcore bands Youth of Today and Shelter. He co-hosts the podcast Wisdom of the Sages with Kaustubha Das (Podnews). On his own website he writes that in 1991 he “received the name Raghunath (formerly Ray Cappo), marking initiation into the Vaishnava lineage”, without naming who initiated him (his website; Wikipedia).
A pseudonymous 2020 blog post says he is “one of Dhanurdhara Swami’s original disciples” and that he publicly names Radhanath Swami as his guru; it cites no document for either claim (blog post). The editors record Dhanurdhara Swami as his initiating guru. He is not accused of anything on this site.
